Meditation Tips
from:Meditation is a great tool to release stress. It helps to calm your mind and relax the body. Meditation is a process opposite to concentration. However most practices require achieve the meditation stated through concentration. Extreme concentration of attention at some point flips to its opposite state - meditation state where actually no single object of concentration. In other words a process of doing turns into simple process of being. These are a few useful tips that can help you easier transition from the state of doing into state of being.
1. Let go any experience in your meditation
It is not uncommon to have some unusual or even mystical experiences during meditation. The best advice I can give you is not to get attached to those experiences no matter how wonderful they are. The purpose of the meditation is to find yourself in a simple state of being. If you start chasing or clinging to any experience you will ruin your meditation.
2. Remember your Self throughout the day
Meditation is a practice that you spend certain amount of time during the day. You can spend 15 minutes or an hour a day. What can improve you meditation practice and your overall spiritual growth is remembering to look at yourself during the day. No matter what you are doing simply pay attention to that something that you call "I". This practice is simply paying attention to your existence and it can tremendously increase your progress in meditation.
3. Make it a ritual
Meditation is a practice that has to be done on a daily basis. You need to schedule certain time during a day and choose a certain location in your house for meditation. If you constantly meditate at the same time at the same place your body and mind will automatically adjust to this ritual. That will make it easier to switch into meditation state.
Use technological aids for your meditation
There is a new technology called binaural beats that allow your brain tune into meditation state much more easily. I highly recommend you to download your copy of binarual beats for meditation. Instead of spending decades of meditation practice meditating with this technology gives the results much quicker than any other technique.
